Blaze football gets back on track with a win over Warren County

Blackman defeated Warren County 62-0. This win put the Blaze record at 6-1 for the season.

Offensive stat leaders: Connor Mitchell (#6) had 86 passing yards with 1 touchdown and 20 rushing yards for an additional touchdown, Cordell Braxton (#7) added 177 rushing yards and 5 touchdowns, Adonis Otey (#1) added 1 receiving touchdown, Thomas Burks (#80) connected on 5 extra point attempts while younger brother Jonathon Burks (#85) connected on the final 2 extra point attempts.

Defensive stat leaders: Carson (#8), Brown (#92), Brown (#4), and Greatrex (#97) each added 3 tackles, Murphy (#9), Moore (#42), Holloway (#21), and Layne (#40) added 2 tackles each.

The Blaze return to action Friday, October 13th, at 7:00 pm. Blackman will face Cookeville High School in Cookeville, Tn.
